Unusual, I know. But for someone who has always dreamed of having 12 children and a large home library, it was just the perfect match. I knew that children's books are pricey and would not be a huge financial priority for "starving students." I had enough pots and pans and towels to get by on. Man does not live by bread alone!
Since then our family and our family library has grown, as we have given each child books for Christmas, Easter, birthday, and vacation souvenirs. We don't have 12 children, but we have loved reading to and with the ones we have. And while I don't read as much as I wish (not even close), I love sharing a good book with others when I find one. So this blog is a dream come true. (I know, weird again.) I will gradually add a book here and there to my list to share with anyone who happens to want to know.
Hope you find something that increases your enjoyment of reading by yourself, with someone you love, or with a child who could use a friend. Happy reading!

I've always enjoyed buying books to add to our library as well. I sometimes think I like buying them more than reading them. :) However, I just finished reading Harry Potter 7--finally!
