Rise of the Evening Star is the second installment of the Fablehaven series. An old and new power, the Evening Star, is rising, and Seth, Kendra, and their grandparents need to find a magical artifact before the society, to stop them from using it to release a demon from its prison. With the help of some new friends, (and enemies), they learn that not everyone is to be trusted, and that being eaten by a giant frog can have its advantages, as long as your in a cocoon.
